Arlene Dittman was a Reviver. She first died at 81 years old from a heart attack and came back to life on Revival Day.[1] She complained about her teeth that prevented her from using her dentures and kept growing each time she pulled them with pliers.[2]
After poisoning a zebroid for being an "abomination" like her, Arlene stabbed her daughter Terry with her pliers, killing her. Arlene attacked Officer Dana Cypress, and Em killed her to defend her sister.[2] Arlene came back to life once again and went after her daughter's funeral,[3] where she immolated herself.[4]
Arlene eventually regenerated from the severe burns. She became one of the prisoners of the Riverside Care Facility[5] and escaped it with the other Revivers.[6] Once Dana let go of her sister, the souls of Revivers returned to them and allowed them to die, and Arlene said she would sing with the angels.[7]
Behind the scenes[]
- Nicky Guadagni portrays Arlene's counterpart in the Revival TV series. In reverse to the comics, the character has her son-in-law's surname Stankiewicz, and her daughter and son-in-law have Arlene's surname Dittman.
