Revival is an upcoming series to debut on Syfy on June 12, 2025.[1] As announced in May 2024, the channel gave a series order to the drama based on the comic book series of the same name.[2] Filming for the first season officially wrapped on December 7, 2024,[3] and the first trailer released on May 1, 2025.[1]
In 2017, Shatterglass Films released a Proof-of-Concept Teaser showcasing the project for a film based on Revival,[4] but there have been no updates since the teaser's release.
Synopsis[]
- Produced by Canadian company Blue Ice Pictures, Revival is set on one miraculous day in rural Wisconsin when the recently deceased suddenly rise from their graves. But this is no zombie story as the "revived" appear and act just like they once were. When local Officer and single mother Dana Cypress is unexpectedly thrown into the center of a brutal murder mystery of her own, she's left to make sense of the chaos amidst a town gripped by fear and confusion where everyone, alive or undead, is a suspect.[2]
